One of the sisters in our stake painted this painting just for the conference and had the original there. Each of us was given a print of it to take home. This print doesn't do it justice but I loved what she had to say about it.
She said," I wanted this painting to lead the viewer to the Light of the Savior. The path reflects not only the seasons of the year but the various seasons in the lives of sisters who walk there together. Loving, laughing and clasping one another's hand to help each other along the way."

I love how all the seasons are in the picture and there are women at all stages of life depicted in it. As I looked at this painting I thought of the seasons of my life so far and the joys I have had in each of those seasons...as a teen, a newly married woman, a young mother, a mother of teens and now a mother with married children. While I have loved each season for different reasons my greatest joys have been my children. I hope that they will always know how much I love them and how much of a joy they are to me!

A 3 point shot...unfortunately this one was a little short. He usually is pretty on with his outside shots though.
Showing a little dribbling expertise. they scored on this drive.
The shot is off and... he scores!! Way to go Austin. Their team won the game. Their second win! They are 2 for 2 so far.
I love vinyl lettering and anyone who has been to my house knows that I have it all over. The saying above the bed says, " By your side each night I sleep and through the day my heart you keep."
The saying above the window says, " Come grow old along with me, the best is yet to be."
The saying under the shelf says," A sucessful marriage is falling in love over and over again...always with the same person."
Now that we have a few less children at home we have some extra room so I moved our computer upstairs and have Turned Heather's old room into my computer/scrapbooking room.
We are keeping the bed in there for now for guests...you never know who might pop in for a visit! Notice the most cute wall flower I found!!
I have all my scrapbooking stuff in bins on the shelves in the closet so it really works out pretty good. I love having a place to work upstairs where it is so much warmer!
